Happy New Year to all the good fathers, we often talk about mothers as we should but I am taking the time to recognize the fathers. There are some good fathers who are putting in there time 100% and I so proud of all of you. I watch the fathers quite often. Where I work there’s a men program and to see the group and cohesiveness is admirable. I watch the fathers at church and they are hands on taking care of their children. Then on a personal note I see my son Mr. Al Hardy, who is one of the Best Dad I ever seen. He connect, share, talk to the children, give them illustrations and most of all he has patience. Sometimes I wonder if the families and that’s everyone who is related to the children are aware of this. So many times good people go unnoticed and taking for granted and the dead beat dad gets so much attention.
I just want to give a shot out to all the active, hardworking, loving Good Fathers all over the world, if no one has told you I want to say Thank You. As a Counselor I Thank You.
You are creating stability, strength & power in the child’s life. This helps ground them with foundational love from a man. To all the Fathers who are involved in your child’s life HAPPY 2012, there are 12 months in a year & 12 disciples in the bible. So I say to you use the 12 month to be in your child’s life show up daily, and discipline conditioning yourself for you are the unspoken hero.
