Greatness

I know you have heard over and over the word greatness.  Then you ask the question, how can I be great?
Greatness is inside of you, Dr. Cheryl why did you say that? Why because of the following:

You have the choice and the freewill to do what you want.... that's great
You have life  ....that's great
Where there's life there's hope.... that' great
Having the ability to move without help ... that's great
The ability to think.... that's great
So often you have gifts and talents in you and you buried them, don't use it, and sit on it. How many times have I seen a person sit on there gifts and when it's use everyone is blown away.
If you can sing- open your mouth and sing let melody move our souls
If you can dance- dance your way to the studio, teach dance classes
If you can paint- paint your way to the art gallery
If you talk a lot- go to law school, you will talk before many judges
If you have wisdom- write the plan and share it with the youth, you can help them to avoid mistakes
There is greatness in you!! Tap into it and let it flow

What's your comments and thoughts about greatness?

  1. Cheryl I love this and you have really summed up what greatness is and should be and most importantly you painted a vivid picture on what it looks like and that is a beautiful thing and I couldn't have said it any better but I see it being like a saying that I am familiar with what greatness is to me....it's like an eggs-and-ham breakfast: the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'committed'. So greatness is a process that one has to commit to not just be involved in.

  2. As Martin Luther King Jr. said "Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve." Sometimes it's just listening to a troubled youth who needs direction. Sometimes it may be helping a student with homework. "The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches, but to reveal to him his own." -Benjamin Disraeli. Now that's greatness!
